Express Ticketing - Sydney


Applications are invited for the following new positions in our Sydney office:

State Manager - NSW

Reporting directly to Quynh Giang, the State Manager will be required to provide sales strategy and leadership that will maximize Express Ticketing sales and distribution in NSW, and will play an integral role in the management of the Division.

To be successful in this role, applicants must be sales driven, focused and motivated to succeed. Previous travel industry sales experience is essential as are excellent people management skills.

For this role you will need to:

  • Thrive in achieving an increase in revenue, brand exposure, securing new sales contracts and promoting the Company’s strengths to the NSW market
  • Use your excellent people skills to motivate and develop a strong team
  • Build on existing relationships and develop new relationships at a senior level by utilising your effective business development and sales skills
  • Confidently negotiate with senior managers at airlines and travel agencies
  • Implement sound business decisions through clear-thinking, budget management and creative ideas
  • Demonstrate extensive experience as a sales professional within the travel industry, ideally in consolidation
  • Demonstrate highly developed communication and presentation skills.


Sales Executive  - NSW

To maximise opportunities and grow the business in the NSW market, a position has been created for an additional Sales Executive for the Sydney team.  This person will work very closely with the team and will be responsible for:

  • Making sales calls to travel agencies
  • Increasing the number of agents utilising our consolidation services in NSW as per targets set by Management
  • Continually looking for opportunities to generate new business
  • Increasing the number of new sales from existing agents and maintaining relationships with these agents
  • Tracking sales trends and figures and providing reports on these patterns


Applicants for this role, must have:

  • A proven track record in achieving sales targets
  • Previous working experience in the travel industry with some experience in a travel agency / travel sales or extensive ticketing experience and an excellent understanding of the travel industry in general
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Exceptional customer services and relationship building skills
  • Strong computer and written skills
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Excellent English skills as well as fluency in an Asian language will be beneficial, as will a recognised qualification in travel, sales skills training and a knowledge of CRS systems.
